Community Highlights: Meet Brittany Davis of Beale Street Blues

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittany Davis.

Brittany Davis

Hi Brittany, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.

I’ve been making strides in Social Media Marketing, Brand strategy & creative services since 2004. I graduated from Alabama State University and earned my degree in Public Relations with a minor in Music Management.

Since graduation, I have worked in several industries from non-profit to corporate sales and event management. From Atlanta to Montgomery and now Memphis, I have taken risks that have allotted me both experience and exposure. The motivation behind all of my work is to keep people informed and encouraged; as well as create strategies that ensure growth and expansion.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Every journey has moments that make us stop, regroup, and remember why we started. It took many years to build practices that helped my clients understand the value of strategy and clear messaging.

The shifts in the digital/social media market over the last 7 years have made more space for creators like me! We have been able to innovate & tell our clients stories most uniquely!

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Beale Street Blues Company?

I currently serve as the Entertainment Director & Digital Marketing Manager. I have the privilege of working with a large roster of artists & musicians to meet our music needs monthly! I also spearhead all digital marketing campaigns, content creation, and social media strategy. I have been with the company since 2019 and am beyond grateful for the growth we have seen over the years.

I’m most proud of the engagement we have with our Guests. We take great pride in offering a memorable experience every night. We pay close attention to the details, trends, and concerns to ensure we exceed the expectation.

I want readers to know that when you come to BB King’s and Itta Bena, it should feel like home. We want to be on your mind when you are looking for Good Music, Good Food & a safe space to escape it all.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
Memphis continues to gain attention for its music + food across the country and globally. I feel the industry will continue to see an increase in opportunities, visitors & recognition. Influence and impact will continue to be a theme.
