Hi chris, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
It all started with a TikTok post I saw promoting a company in the Los Angeles area that was doing what they called On-Demand Mobile Fueling. This company was literally delivering fuel to peoples homes and businesses all with an app based process, just like DoorDash or UberEats. From that day my mind was set that if it can be done in California then it can for sure be done in the Memphis market with the right marketing and patience. The next 6 months was spent learning the fuel delivery industry, due diligence and information gathering, creating a business model/plan and the development of our brand 2U Fuel, LLC. We launched in August of 2023 with just one truck and are now in the process of bringing on our third.
Today 2U Fuel has two fuel delivery divisions which are retail and commercial. The retail division is the first of it’s kind, is a fully app based service that specializes in the fueling of peoples personal vehicles at their homes or work, small business fleet fueling and corporate subscriptions which is also a first of it’s kind in the Memphis market. The commercial division specializes in what is known as Wet Hosing (Equipment Fueling) on job sites, site tank bulk filling, fleet fueling on a larger scale, fuel tank rentals/sales and also fuel tank level monitoring. This services main fuel is dyed and clear diesel. We are very happy with the trajectory of both divisions and love the thought of delivering convenience, safety and technology to our customers in the Memphis market.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not going to say it has been easy, because it has not. As many new start-ups will agree there are always growing pains, especially when introducing a new service in a market that has never seen it first hand. With that being said, 2U Fuel has seen consistent growth quarter by quarter in both the commercial and retail divisions and feel 2025 could especially be a boost for the retail division as our marketing of the service will be amping up and just the overall understanding of the service is spreading.

2U Fuel is an On-Demand Mobile Fuel Delivery Company that services the Memphis and surrounding areas. We are the first and only of it’s kind to offer a true App Based service that virtually anyone who drives a vehicle can have access to our services. We offer weekly service that is subscription based (Monthly), offer “Same as Pump Pricing”, contactless- which means you do not have to be present for the fueling, fully insured and practice all state and federal guidelines. We also offer our commercial fueling services which encompass all types of diesel fueling .
What sets us apart from the others on the retail side of things is the App Based offering which allows for the ordering process to be super fast and simple. The customer selects where and when they would like service weekly and we take it from there. Our commercial division uses mini tanker trucks which allows 2U Fuel to service many areas that the larger companies and their trucks have difficulties maneuvering in those spaces. Our trucks are outfitted with today’s latest in technology for fuel data tracking and that is a major help for the customer on the administrative side of things.
The brand 2U Fuel is being built on transparency, honesty and consistency to the customers. Yes we are the bright yellow fuel trucks and with that comes high standards and being “Motivated by the fear of being average”
