Hi Curestin, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
It all started my junior year of high-school. I was in cosmetology class and was servicing students by doing cluster lashes during my lunch period for $15 and business was booming. So I took the next step and took a classic lash class in 2018. By the end of my senior year (2020)I had a steady clientele for lash extensions.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I am very blessed for the consistency my business has had over the years.Lashes take a lot of experience and patience because no clients eyelash is the same. I have been doing lashes well over 4 years and I’m still learning new days about the industry till this day. I hope to take my business to the next level in 2025 and better my marketing skills.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I am a 21 year old esthetician who specializes in lashes, brows and facials. I am known for being an lash artist whom typically offered customized sets to enhance the face. Instead of use simple maps I (a lash artist) uses different curls, diameters and techniques for each client based on their eye shapes. I have also been investing some my time in starting another business that I plan to launch in 2025.
Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs or other resources you think our readers should check out?
Social media is a big influence on the world for my generation. Apps like Instagram and TikTok help me in my work life perfectly. They give me creative ideas for my business. Also, they are educational when I want to learn how to do something new to expand my business.Now as for my personal life, podcast are a great outlet for me my favorite so far is “Saved and Such”
