Today we’d like to introduce you to Michaela Romano-Smith.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Ever since I was 15, I have always had a passion for traveling and trying new things/restaurants and experiences. I was fortunate to travel a bit when I was younger but really developed a passion for it in my teen years. I am 100% Italian so food was always a big part of my life as well.
My love and passion for both travel and food really grew when I studied abroad in France and since then have continued to make travel and food a priority. I have traveled to 15 countries and over 17 states and am excited to check more off my bucket list.
I started consistently sharing my travel and food recommendations about two years ago and didn’t realize how many people would love my stories/recommendations and how many other like-minded passionate travelers and foodies there were! I’ve really loved making connections with all those who are equally as passionate about traveling and food. You can find me on Instagram at @michaela_romanosmith.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I am a passionate Travel and Food Influencer and specialize in sharing places to travel, where to eat, and things to do/see. I am based in Boston so a lot of my content is from New England based but I share it everywhere I go inside and outside of the US.
On my page, you can find a lot of locally owned (some hidden gems) restaurants and hotels as well as fun things to do/see. I truly love supporting locals and strive to focus on sharing as many locally owned businesses as possible.

I definitely have to give a shout-out to my husband, Jarrod (@jtsmith91) who has been my #1 travel and food partner.
He is always supporting my love and passion for travel and food and has developed a passion for it as well over the past 10-15 years.
