Community Highlights: Meet Paula Anderson of Paula Anderson Coaching and Consulting

Today we’d like to introduce you to Paula Anderson.

Paula Anderson

Hi Paula, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My journey started in 1999 as a business owner. However, it has taken several years to get to this point. I took a detour in 2014 and found my purpose in life. This changed my outlook on life. Today, I am focused on scaling my current business – Paula Anderson Coaching and Consulting LLC.

I have taken the time to learn about entrepreneurship and what it means to be an entrepreneur. There have been “peaks and valleys” throughout my journey. The most important aspect is that I have not given up on success. I continue to wake up each day with the hope of moving to the next level.

Can you talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road has been rough at times. One of my struggles has been not getting support from people who I have helped along the way. As an educator, I have offered continuing education to others free of charge. I have used my influence as well.

Another struggle has been scaling my business, so I can go to another level. In 2023, I added more facilitators to increase the continuing education courses that I offer to healthcare professionals in Tennessee.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
PACC offers face-to-face, online training modules and one-on-one coaching to students, organizations, and companies. Paula Anderson is the founder and principal of PACC. She works with a team of independent contractors and part-time employees with specialization in financial management, medical coding, and behavioral health.

In 2023, PACC was awarded a contract with Austin Peay State University to offer continuing education on medical coding, medical billing, entrepreneurship, communication, and leadership.

This is an opportunity to scale my business.

What matters most to you?
Family is the most important aspect for me. I have one adult son, Eric Ryan Brinson, and he is my greatest accomplishment.

Education is an area that matters to me. Transferring and sharing knowledge with others will help them to grow and achieve their goals.

I have already enjoyed teaching, so this is “my calling.”
