Rita, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Since I have always been working with beauty for the past 12 years as a model, I have always been interested and fascinated by this industry.
As time passed, I developed on myself the desire to share it and contribute in other women’s somehow, but in different spheres, with different perspectives other than just my realization, helping them take care of themselves and rescuing their value became my major passion.
It’s something that embraces and matches who I am. I work with passion and help others love themselves, even more, providing self-care. Besides loving the practice itself to touch and connect myself with each client, making them feel better in all these senses was the primary reason that turned me into the skincare therapist world.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No really! It was very challenging. First of all, because of the language, I came to the USA with very short English. (good morning/ what’s is your name) lol!
After a while, I got married and pregnant, with no support from families of both sides, mines because they are in Brazil, my husband’s family is in New York, and us in Florida.
Plus, my husband didn’t support my dream at first sight, so I had patiently convinced him that it would be something very good for us, and then finally, he agreed, but it was a battle.
As you know, we’re big fans of Brazilian Beauty Skin & Glow. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about the brand?
It’s a business idealized with passion and love to serve and help others feel better from the outside and inside. I love everything that indulges people in getting their best version, Besides my passion and specialization of skincare.
Now I’m specializing in lasers and new rejuvenation techniques. I also do lashes, make-ups for events, brow lamination that is a super trend now, and I keep studying to keep updated on the latest innovative new technologies for my clients. I have a blog that helps women dress appropriately for each occasion; I believe that my vision and the way I look and help them set me apart from others. I don’t do it just because of the money. I do it because I realize helping others is the human in me.
I’m proud of so many barriers I had broken through my faith in Lord Jesus. Without him, nothing would be possible. I’m proud of everything I’ve done so far, and I do not repent of anything, even knowing that I had some mistakes. I understand that they were essential for what I became and who I am now.
