Sharicka, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Evolve Screening llc is a business decision after opening Butterfly Evolve Wellness Spa both established in 2019 . After experiencing multi family members death due to Covid; including my phenomenal grandmother. I was lead to help others keep their love ones safe. The pandemic had a negative impact for the holistic spa due to the Shutdowns. Testing the Midsouth for Covid allowed opportunities for other lab collection services such as DOT/Non DOT drug testing, DNA testing, fingerprinting , I9 and background checks to offer my community. Evolve Screening strives for excellence and service. We are now committed to immigration DNA and consultation. Excellent customer service faith and dedication has kept our doors opened. We enjoy hearing from each client we serve by goggle review. Which is the best way to ensure others find our company from the voices of our customers.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Working full time and learning to run a business was/is no cake walk. It takes sacrifice, dedication and patience. Nothing would be possible if I didn’t have family and friends that encourage and support. I have had to rely on friends and family to work as employees with not so appealing wages just to give the business an helping hand. I have been fortunate to have amazing landlords as well that were willing to work with me within reasons. But most of all I Thank God for my parents. My mother is the real backbone and day to day face of the business. She has been able to step in and manage the operations due to her years of experience in management. So has their been rough times yes but like the name of the company states- Evolve

Evolve Screening offers all one’s
pre employment services. We are here for personal, small business and corporate business needs. We are mostly known for fingerprinting, background checks, I9, hair follicles drug testing and virtual mailbox service. Paternity testing and immigration DNA is increasing. I am a helper by nature so serving the mid south will exceptionally customer service is what we pride on as a minority small business. Evolve Screening is a service center that our clients can trust.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
The most important lesson I have learned along this journey is that you cannot do a business solo. You need a team. You have to know how to delegate. I say a team because one person is not good at everything that it takes to run a business. It’s not always easy being the manager, owner, graphic’ designer, social media manager employee and the accountant. Building a team is important element in the company.
