Today we’d like to introduce you to Christopher C-Dub Gross.
Hi Christopher, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Glovers C-Dub Gross lived in Chicago then moved to Memphis with his Mom in North Memphis. Being a lover of music and a singer, I knew I wanted to be on TV or have my name in light.
Years later in 2012, I was asked to manage a group signed to Lil Wyte’s label Thug Therapy. Wyte Music/Hypnotized Minds. After learning so much in so little time, 2 years later, I started my own company.
Today, I am the Owner of Soundrock Mgmt Booking & Promotions, the Creator of the Roc Da Mic Showcase Tour established in 2014 to help countless unsigned artists get the exposure and winning perks they deserve to help further their movement and brand.
I also created The Atlanta Battle For The Mic Music Showcase, Arkansas Battle For The Mic Music Competition, “We Wanna Be Heard Now” Raleigh NC Roc Da Mic, Showtime Apollo Roc Da Mic, Midwest Best Of The Best, and just received my first Gold Plaque this year 2022 from an artist signed to my Management Company.
2020, I created 2 Podcast Shows The Chris & Chris Podcast Show available on Apple Podcast, Spotify, Amazon, Anchor FM, and seen on YouTube and The Indie Live Spot.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, it hasn’t. The year before I got hired to manage Wyte Music. I lost my Mom to lung cancer.

I help countless unsigned artists learn the business from a CEO standpoint because it’s about the business of music and a lot of independent artists don’t have an idea on how to get paid without trying to sign to the SLAVE SHIP (MAJOR LABELS).
