Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Hi, I’m Ebony Bailey, the founder of The Art Synapse, a platform that helps artists and creators unleash their creativity with artificial intelligence.
I was born and raised in Memphis, TN, where I developed a passion for art and technology at an early age. I am self-taught and have spent months researching and looking for my niche. Thus, I explored the intersections of culture, diaspora, and social movements.
As an AI-Prenuer, I use AI as a creative tool to generate novel forms, shapes, figures, and patterns that inspire my artistic vision. I also teach others how to use AI to create and monetize their art, whether it’s digital, physical, or mixed media.
I believe that AI is not a threat to human creativity, but a collaborator and a catalyst. By working with AI, we can expand the limits of art as we know it and discover new possibilities of expression.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road to starting was very hectic and took long days and nights and determination to find my niche.
In a world where AI just took over in what seems to be overnight, I had to find what I wanted to get out of AI, and for me, it was to suppress a feeling of loneliness after my mom died on June 5th, 2023.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am an AI-prenuer who specializes in creating art that speaks to everyone no matter their race, gender, or sexuality. I specialize in creating canvas wall art from custom names to beautiful and intriguing art pieces that can be anywhere from conceptual art to merely a coloring book.
I also create puzzles, journals, notebooks, and occasionally holiday items such as cards and ornaments. The thing I am most proud of is The Art Synapse University, a fictional but soon-to-be non-fictional University specializing in teaching the beauty of Artificial Intelligence.
What does success mean to you?
Success is a broad and subjective concept that can mean different things to different people. However, a common theme is that success involves achieving a favorable or desired outcome, whether it is personal, professional, or social.
Some possible ways to define success are:
Success is reaching your goals and fulfilling your potential.
Success is finding happiness and satisfaction in what you do and who you are.
Success is making a positive impact on the world and the people around you.
Success is learning from your failures and overcoming your challenges.
Success is living according to your values and principles.
Ultimately, success is what you make of it. You can define success for yourself based on your criteria and preferences, and not by what others expect or impose on you. Success is not a fixed destination, but a dynamic and evolving journey.
