Conversations with Johnathan Meadows

Today we’d like to introduce you to Johnathan Meadows.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Loyalty Films is a business I started in 2011 based on a hobby for photography and videography. I have always seen things a certain way or what some people call a photographers eye.

Shortly after purchasing my 1st DSLR, I continued to sharpen my skills to the point where my hobby turned into a business. I can honestly say one of the most rewarding things is to see the smiles of satisfaction from customers.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road so far has not always been smooth.

I can say around the beginning years were the hardest with building clientele. My mission overall was to try and keep a consistent product in order to pyramid up.

I would say the number one thing I had to learn was financial management early on. Save a percentage of revenue for the rough patches when business is slow.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
The thing I specialize in or say that I’m most called for is videography. In the current state, videos are needed everywhere from websites, marketing, product promotion, etc.

I thank God for the skill because there are no limitations on what I can do. Most photographers are just that. I provide the option of both photo/video when booked by clients.

Who else deserves credit in your story?
I would like to thank everyone that has played a part in keeping the lights on so far. My family and close friends have also played a big role in spreading the word about my services. All the love has been genuine.
