Conversations with Reonna Thomas

Today we’d like to introduce you to Reonna Thomas.

Hi Reonna, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Imagine growing up and having to learn to be a grown-up at the same time. Make mistakes and set examples learn and teach well welcome to the life of The BadGirl ReRe real name Reonna I’m a 23-year-old mom of 2 beautiful girls ages 8 and 7 might I say these 2 little people are whose entire existence changed my life and made me who I am today as well as still grooming me into a better person mom and friend every day.

Ever since I could remember, its always been so extraordinary about me like when God made me he flooded me with spunk, pizazz, and originality the ability to master anything I put my mind to as well as being a person that can’t walk into a room without it lighting up or putting several smiles on peoples face “the life of the party “ as they say. I’m a jack of all trades I’ve always been an over-the-top overachieving fashionista anything you can think of In school growing up if it let me express my originally I was a part of from school plays speech contest Barbizon modeling school cheer track etc.

I learned early anything I put my mind to and apply myself fully I will achieve. Now, I’m an upcoming “Hairstylist “ and cosmetology student at Goulds academy, aspiring promotional for bread chaser family, and I’m in the process of opening my own business selling my own custom apparel, hair extensions and I’ll be offering hair services in the future. All the trials and tribulations in my life I’m actually grateful for they made me the woman mother and friend I am today

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road I took wasn’t smooth at all growing up I was always a good kid and student but getting pregnant at such a young age made it even harder on me mentally and physically with finishing school staying strong-minded and leveled headed dealing with judgment stipulations and everyone looking at me as a statistic or judging my mom because of my choices in life when she did nothing but set the best example and instill great morals and values within me.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m known for doing hair hosting parties underground artist showcases modeling and being a businesswoman selling apparels hair extensions and etc.

What sets me apart from anyone else is I’m original, when I was younger everyone older from teachers to my parents family members and even nice strangers would always say I acted like I was driven by a motor lol that specific phrase means I’m always on the go always active always doing something with no need for acceptance of if clarification from others.

I’m myself all the time from the way I act to the way I dress and carry myself.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
My favorite childhood memory would always be my birthday parties from as young as I remembered because my mom always worked life was so busy and everybody in my family was able to gather laugh and just ignore or let go of any frustration or bad vibes and enjoy life and one another’s company
