Hi Spiky, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
Hey, I’m Spiky Hesh, I’m a Syrian Musical Artist (born October 2001) I’ve been making music since 2018 and I make a lot of Hip Hop Sub-genres such as Trap, Drill, Boom bap, LoFi, Phonk, and mostly Dark Underground Beats, etc.
Actually, the most thing that made me who I am now is listening to and understanding every music genre at an early age I am influenced by DJs such as Avicii, Martin Garrix, Skrillex, and Diplo… and rappers like Lil Wayne, Eminem, NWA, Bones, Redzed, $uicideboy$, Ghostemane, Lil Peep, etc…
Yea, my life as a Syrian boy who is still in Syria. It’s literally the worst thing you don’t wanna hear much about, all I’m gonna say is (It’s suffering then suffering before suffering). With all that, I made it so far. I’m still surviving by making music that reflects my pain and feelings, I’m dumping my energy and anger into it “Without music, I’d be a dead man who has no reason to be alive”.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It was the most difficult way, without exaggeration, I kept making music on an app called “FL Studio Mobile” on a phone!! For 4 years cause back then I didn’t have enough money to buy a laptop or PC!!
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I make anything I wanna make and that is the thing that sets me apart as you can see beatmakers nowadays 99% of their beats are Li’l baby, Type, Pop Smoke, Drake, etc. and that is a huge wrong, man I hate to see copies!!
The thing I’m proud of is my resistance despite the poverty and the difficult life that I live so far. Keep going, keep making music.
My final advice for you is “Do what you love and love what you do”.
What matters most to you?
Music first and only, I’ll reach my dream one day I’ll never give up, I was born for this.
I drop my future in the trash to do this.
