Today we’d like to introduce you to Trevonte Earl.
Hi Trevonte, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Honestly, my journey has been about finding myself through creation. I started with music — writing, recording, producing — it’s always been my way of processing life and connecting with people. Over time, I realized it wasn’t just music where I had that gift. I’ve always loved things that make people feel good — scents, vibes, energy — and that led me to start Natural Divinity Bath & Body Co. I wanted to create candles and body care that smelled amazing but were also natural and safe for our skin, especially in the Black and Brown community.
It hasn’t been easy — a lot of it has been trial and error, late nights, and teaching myself everything from branding to production. But every step felt necessary. Today, I’m proud to say I’ve built a brand and a sound that are both true to who I am — healing, creative, and real. And honestly, I feel like I’m just getting started.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Definitely not a smooth road. I’ve had to figure out a lot of things on my own, and sometimes it felt like I was building the plane while flying it. With music, it was hard feeling like I had all this talent but no real roadmap to turn it into something bigger. With Natural Divinity, it was the same — learning how to make products, brand them, and get people to trust something new.
Money was a challenge too — trying to invest in myself while still handling everyday life. And honestly, there were a lot of moments where self-doubt tried to creep in. But through it all, I just stayed focused on the bigger picture. Every obstacle pushed me to work smarter, move with more intention, and believe in my vision even when nobody else could see it yet.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m an artist and a creator at heart. Through my music as Trey Trizzy, I tell real stories — about pain, healing, growth — in a way that’s raw but still relatable. I don’t box myself into one genre either. My sound touches everything from hip-hop to R&B to pop and even rock, because emotions aren’t one-dimensional, and I don’t believe music should be either.
On the other side, with Natural Divinity Bath & Body Co., I create luxury natural products — candles, body care — that feel high-end but are made with ingredients you can trust. I specialize in blending natural with luxury, making sure the scents are unique and memorable, not the typical ‘earthy’ smells people expect from natural products.
What I’m most proud of is how personal everything I create is. It’s real. It’s thoughtful. And it’s bigger than me — it’s about helping people feel seen, heard, and cared for. I think what sets me apart is that whether it’s a song or a candle, it’s coming from the same place: honesty, emotion, and intention. You can feel the heart in it.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
I definitely didn’t get here alone. I’ve had people who believed in me at times when I didn’t even believe in myself. First, my family — even with ups and downs, they’ve always been a part of my drive to keep pushing forward.
In business, my early supporters and clients played a huge role. The people who bought my products when nobody knew the brand yet, who gave honest feedback, and who kept coming back — they gave me the confidence to keep building Natural Divinity.
And musically, I’ve had a few friends and collaborators who always reminded me that my voice and my story matter, even when I second-guessed myself. Their support kept the fire lit.
Overall, I’m grateful for every person who showed love, gave advice, challenged me to do better, or simply showed up. They’re all a part of this journey with me.
