Hi Anastasia, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Honestly, I still get so tickled telling anyone how I began. It brings such nostalgia. My love for Makeup Artistry began with me sneaking out of the house to go to the Incognito club and watch the drag shows. The colors, the placement, and the perfection of makeup and costumes captivated me every Friday.
I fell in love with a queen named Angel St. James. After begging her relentlessly every weekend, she taught me how to paint professionally. Later, I attended Hollywood Expressions Makeup School in California to elevate my craft into Film/Television. From there, my passion grew into professional photography, weddings, t.v. production, and finally aesthetics.
Can you talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Entrepreneurship is never a smooth road. There are hills & valleys like everything else in life. If I could start from the beginning I would only believe in my talents much earlier and receive what I deserve.

Makeup Artistry will always be my first love. The beauty industry has brought so many beautiful experiences, people, and places into my life. It has been the stepping stone into the Esthetics field. The knowledge to become a top professional in salon property management.
More importantly, raising the morale of women & young children through esthetics and self-care. Building confidence in every client interaction is what makes me a pillar in the community for so many.
