Today we’d like to introduce you to Audra Johnson.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I have been in the medical field since 1994. I enjoy taking care of people. My favorite part of my job is phlebotomy, being a good phlebotomy tech is what made me start my business. I get a lot of good feedback and requests from my patients.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It’s hasn’t been a smooth road as far as getting my business started. I have a few patients that call me for some injections and blood draws but I would like more. My struggles are getting my clientele.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am an R.M.A with an Associate Degree, a phlebotomist, Notary, and a CPR instructor. I love doing phlebotomy work. I care about how I make my clients feel and I think I’m great with my work.
In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
Hopefully, I see more of a need for my services over the next 5-10 years. Some Doctors are now doing televists with their patients. With my services added to the televists, the patients will not have to come into the Doctor’s offices for blood work.
