Daily Inspiration: Meet Bryan Kenton

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bryan Kenton.

Hi Bryan, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
As a proud man defend the one thing I’ve always known was the stage. Starting in the sixth grade when I got my first ever role as the lead Santa Claus in the playa Clause for Mrs. Claus. Ever since I had that moment, I have always known that I was determined to be on the stage and Beyond! My name is Bryan Kenton I am a performer actor-singer content creator overall light in the world. Ever since I’ve made the decision to be a full-time performer and content creator my life has never been the same.

It all started with the Orpheum Theater in Memphis Tennessee got a lot of experience working with this company as a high school student in the High School Musical Theater Awards program and also a proud member of the Star Council program! My love and my passion for theater grew over the years more and more to where I made it a profession starting with Theater West Virginia in Beckley West Virginia. I was lucky enough to be discovered on an elevator in Mobile Alabama at the SETC Seattle conference where college and professional actors go to audition in front of all professional hiring companies to land jobs for the year.

It was my first year being invited to attend this convention and to get the opportunity to be an auditionee. A lot of people told me that there was no way I would even get the chance of getting invited my first year auditioning for this program but I did! I was then told after being invited to come and to audition that I probably wouldn’t look for any jobs for multiple reasons from my weight to me being a rookie and my overall personality! What all were they wrong I was on the elevator and before I knew what the term elevator speech meant I delivered probably one of the world’s best elevator speeches of mankind!

Not only did I catch the eye of the casting director I had already booked my first professional gig originated in the role of Avis from Paradise Park the musical with Theater West Virginia back in 2018! And after that my Seattle career took off I kept working with the same company for years and got to have more experiences with other companies such as playhouse on the Square Hattiloo Theater and of course, the Orpheum see you then!

I am so beyond blessed to have had such success and such Joy performing and being a creative person now I do it online asking Teddy on the app Bigo Live app! I get to perform all my different characters such as Grandma Betty or King Teddy or DJ Royaltea and generate my own income by just being myself! In over a year, I have made more money being a performer than I ever have in my creative career just from the private comforts of my own home!

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
You know the term. I shall wear a crown that is the definition of how rough and how much work it has been to get to the point where I’m starting right now I am so excited to be taking this next step in my journey but it was not easy there were a lot of nights where I felt alone I felt unsupported.

I felt like I had lost my thunder and I continue to beat down on myself day in and day out I thought there was no way possible that I was going to be able to securely keep a fan following continues to get booked for different gigs have an amazing opportunity that some people dream of I didn’t think that I was deserving of it.

Until somebody told me that I deserved what all was happening for me all the good the bad definitely was worth it and it made me more grateful for what was going on and it kept me humbled and grounded.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Bigo Live is a free app that lets users make videos or live-stream their activities to friends and strangers. Anyone can broadcast videos anytime and anywhere, and connect to anyone. Livestreamers receive live comments from other users and can search for nearby users.

As an Actor. Interpret serious or comic roles by speech, gesture, and body movement to entertain or inform audience for stage, motion picture, television, radio, or other media production. Rehearse and memorize lines. Entertain, convey characters, and express emotions in front of a live audience.

Content Creator’s responsibilities include producing marketing copy to advertise our products, writing blog posts about industry-related topics, and promoting our content on social media. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with digital publishing and generating traffic and leads for new business.

Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
As a host on the Bigo Live App, it’s a very dog-eat-dog world sometimes sun people support you, and then they can turn around and talk about you or not support you anymore your fanbase can drop due to other content creators coming.

Basically taking yours supporters it are so many different things that go into it but I love what I get to do on this app I get to create an experience for my subscribers and supporters and with those that I collaborate with.
