

Today we’d like to introduce you to Camri McNary.
Hi Camri, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started my business originally just by posting my vegan meals and different vegan recipes online. People became really interested in what I was doing and started asking me to cook for them, which caused more people to reach out, and then, I grew a solid client base.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It started off really seamless. Then, I started turning it into a legal business, and along with that cane lots of extra expenses and investments
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a vegan chef and owner of The Vegan Goddess, LLC in Memphis, TN. I work out of a commercial kitchen called Memphis Kitchen Co-Op and Marketplace. I specialized in vegan meal prep and catering and pride myself in offering a large variety of vegan food services.
I’m most proud of my uniqueness when it comes to my menu items, that is what sets me apart from any other vegan food business. I’m also proud of how long I’ve come in such a short period of time.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
I’ve had so much support from clients who support me so heavily. One of my good friends Rachel Maxann actually mentioned me to an editor here at the magazine to do this interview. I have friends that work for me for free just because they want to see me win in life and have so much faith in me and my business.
