Today we’d like to introduce you to Jovi DaGod.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started doing music in 6th grade band as I learned to play the trumpet and the drums. I later started rapping at the age of 16 where I was known as the freestyle bully. after taking over ten years off from music I returned with an amazing debut album called The Rebirth.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has been fairly smooth the difficulties of juggling a regular work life with chasing your dream is taxing.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a songwriter/actor/musician. My sound is timeless my songs are relatable and I write all the lyrics. I also act.
Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
The best way to network is to actually get in front of people. Facebook, google, Instagram ads are extremely helpful
