Hi Lauren, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Short answer would be my son. He started Kindergarten this past year and to ensure that he had the attention needed for schoolwork and to accommodate drop-off and pick-up times; I left my office position. I started Express Yourself as a way to keep busy, make a little money, and in hopes of making items that people would love.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been a relatively smooth road. I have a great support system with my husband, family, and friends.

Creating custom items that have just been a dream in the back of someone’s mind is what I am most proud of.
