Hi Tavis, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started in 2019 shooting visualizers on my phone for parties I would attend and did that until I got my first camera. After about a month of owning a camera, I quit my job at a grocery store and started my journey as a full time creative. By this time I already dropped of out college so everything was full force on me. Around 2021 I got my first big break shooting for the Memphis Grizzlies, then Nless entertainment, then CMG/Universal. I also started doing music and both of my creative endeavors have gotten me far since day 1.. TREND THE WORLD
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Nothing in life is easy. Regardless of entrepreneurship or a job/ career path, you’ll always face obstacles. Mine were things like staying focused, financial stability, getting things wrong, not having a car but I always stayed down
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a full time creative. I am a photographer, videographer, creative director, content creator and music artist. I’m known for my work with Jaren Jackson Jr, NLESS Entertainment, CMG, working with several celebrities and entertainers, and my music. I have to say I’m proud of everything I’ve done so far because it takes serious dedication to see it all through. What sets me apart is my resilience, my fearlessness, and pure passion for the entertainment culture.
What do you like and dislike about the city?
I love the hustle, the grit, the grind. I love seeing people go after their dreams and acheive them even if its small victories they all add up. What i like least is the violence and the disconnection between one another.
