Today we’d like to introduce you to Aaron Sweet.
Hi Aaron, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I was born in Memphis and grew up in Germantown/Collierville where I attended Houston High School. I am currently 22 years old and am attending Belmont University where I will be receiving my Bachelors in Business Administration.
During my time here in Nashville, I have been honing in on my entrepreneurial, financial, and marketing skills. With that being said, I am currently the CEO of a startup (which is being pitched; therefore, I cannot give detail), my personal music record label SweetMove Production, and thesweetmove.com that will be launching on Valentine’s Day (Feb. 14).
I have always been entrepreneurial-minded and I am blessed and grateful to be committed to so many projects at such a young age.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I believe everything will have its obstacles; however, the way we treat those obstacles will determine how smooth the road can possibly feel. I have been blessed to not have many challenges that created doubt in my mind.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
The Sweet Move is a platform that I have created to encourage and promote self-development with those who decide to participate. Through this platform, we will be posting weekly, blogs, podcasts, and potential vlogs that discuss mental and physical health, fitness planning, nutritional planning, and how to navigate aspects of entrepreneurship.
We are set apart by our motivation to document and serve communities through our honesty in the process. People in these spaces typically focus on the things they do great and never truly dive into failures or strongholds that come. However, with The Sweet Move, we believe that an important part of growth is a failure.
Therefore, if we are not honest about our flaws how can we expect our followers to learn and grow. On February 14, our website will be launching which will include free content that encourages people to join and become a part of the community.
What do you think about happiness?
Having a positive impact is what makes me happy. Of course, I love achieving my goals but being able to prove to others that they also possess the ability to achieve their goals, whatever they are, is something that truly gives me a smile.
I find joy in people asking questions as to how they can improve aspects of their lives and I find joy in giving my support as I see them improve above and beyond what was expected.
