Hi Charles, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Mississippi DJ Events is a subsidiary of ChuckBEATz Music Group. Music has always been our passion. It started off as a hobby over 20 years ago but our focus was doing music production and only playing music at a few local parties. Throughout the years we have built up the experience of playing music for larger crowds and official events. It wasn’t until 2011 when we decided that we would get serious about turning our passion into a full-fledged business. So I enrolled backed into school and graduated with a Masters in Education in October 2015. That same month ChuckBEATz Music Group, was formed as our parent company. We begin DJing in San Antonio, and enjoyed success while building and planning to open our branch in Mississippi. Mississippi has always been dear to our heart so it was no brainer to launch a subsidiary here. In April of 2021, we officially launched Mississippi DJ Events.

Mississippi DJ Events is a music service company operating in the state of Mississippi. We service surrounding areas as well to include Alabama, Tennessee, Louisiana, Georgia and Texas. Our mission is to do whatever possible to make an occasion memorable and fun for you and your guests. Rest assured that communication, professionalism, service, and support will be our highest priorities throughout this process.

As a 21 year Active Duty Air Force Airman, I am proud to say our company relies heavily on integrity, service, and excellence. To date, we have provided sounds to over 300 events. We also go the extra mile to ensure all of our partners are in sync with our core values. Our motto is making the world dance through music, service, and love. Music has always been our passion and we firmly believe it’s the universal symbol of love.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been a smooth road. Some of the challenges have been relocating to a new city, getting our name out so people can know we are here, and keeping high quality music experience without compromising our core values of music, service, and love.

Invest in yourself. Build and hone your craft before you offer it to the public, That way once you live you can offer a great quality product. Don’t be afraid to change and alter your business model along the way. The first few years you may not make a profit so if you are in it for the money this may not be for you. You must have a passion about what you are selling. Be prepared to reinvest your profits into building your business. Brand your business and remember you are not the smartest person in the room. Rely on your partnerships and experts. Never give up!
