Today we’d like to introduce you to Daniel Weddle.
Daniel, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My story begins in a broken home shaped by addiction, instability, and limited financial opportunity. From an early age, I learned responsibility by necessity, often caring for others before myself. At nineteen, I started my career as a beat cop working narcotics, where discipline, accountability, and resilience became part of who I am. At the time, I never imagined that path would eventually lead me to becoming President and CEO of a technology company.
Life demanded adaptability early on, both personally and professionally. I became an instant father to three children, worked demanding shifts, and took on multiple jobs to support my family. Along the way, I learned that growth often comes from saying yes to opportunity, even when the path forward isn’t clear. Those early experiences shaped how I lead, how I serve, and how I view responsibility today.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t been easy or smooth, but it’s been meaningful. Growing up in a dysfunctional environment, working in law enforcement, and navigating financial strain with a young family taught me resilience and perspective. Managing ADHD and OCD added challenges, but also sharpened my focus on structure, problem‑solving, and continuous improvement. Each obstacle strengthened my ability to lead with clarity and empathy.
The most difficult challenge I’ve faced was the loss of my son, an experience that forever changed how I see life and leadership. That loss reinforced the importance of faith, family, and compassion in everything I do. It taught me that leadership is not just about performance, but about humanity.
