Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Delilah’s boutique started as an idea at the dinner table, I introduced the idea to my mom and dad over dinner one night. they agreed they would support me with this idea if I wanted a store. I began to do my research and got in contact with many vendors. it all began at my mom’s house in one of the rooms I set up many racks and sold them only to people I knew or online. then, about 3 months later I found my current storefront and began my journey with a storefront, opening the doors to the Memphis community.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
although some days are great some days are not as great. sells will increase and decrease daily, the road to owning a boutique took time, from research to understanding different customers and creating a brand it was not easy and will continue to not be easy but if you want something then no amount of hard work is too hard to achieve your goals.

Delilahs Boutique is located in Memphis Tennessee. A little about myself I am Delia Sevilla, the owner of Delilahs boutique i am currently attending Mississippi State University studying criminology, i love fashion, making people feel beautiful, and having a positive impact around the community of Memphis. Delilahs is woman-owned, mother-daughter-owned, and a latino business. Delilahs is a clothing store that is inclusive to everyone, we like to create a safe spot for all women. our goal is to make everyone feel beautiful. we sell women’s and juniors clothes, shoes and jewelry. our customers are our number one priority online or in-store we are here to help you find the perfect outfit!
How do you define success?
success to me is not all about sales its more about the connections we have built through the memphis community, and the imapct Delilahs as had on people. success is how my products are making people feel not only in Memphis but around the us. the joy women feel when they put on a outfit and feel beautiful. i know i am already successful becouse of the impact i have on people’s life’s. over time sales increasing making more of a profet while all ready having these strong connections with our loyal costumers. it is important to build a brand that represents you and your values and goals.
