Today we’d like to introduce you to Jarvis Payne.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I came up with the idea of my business by simply bringing Hangry to work. The more I tell this story the more I realized how a simple idea can change your whole life.
At the time, I was working for the school district and we only received 30 minutes lunch breaks and that’s if you didn’t have to cover someone’s class. Being frustrated one day I asked my principal at the time about a vending machine and she told me “How about you put one in here.”
From that point on, I followed the necessary steps in gaining the contracts to do so. Whilst doing that little did I know my business was gaining the attention of many other companies locally in the city.
What started off as one location from being hungry had turned into too many to count. What I am most proud of is that I now have something I can leave behind that’ll forever take care of not only my family but generations to come.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I encountered many obstacles when first started.
I had to educate myself in every aspect of vending. It’s more than just filling a machine in addition to the business and logistics part of it. Getting the capital, learning to do my own maintenance, and how to successfully keep the operations moving smoothly while accommodating so many areas.
Now that I’ve mastered this I’m able to teach all that are interested in earning passive income through vending in my masterclass that I offer.
We’ve been impressed with J Payne, Inc., but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My vending machine business services many local businesses providing them with food/drink options as well as other products that may be in demand by business. My machines have it all from school supplies, sanitizer/wipes, etc.
Whatever’s needed I specialize in making it vendable. Aside from my machines I teach classes on earning. Passive income through vending, how to start and successfully run a vending machine business.
I’m most proud of the information I put out has changed many people’s lives and financial circumstances, as well as I, often take products and am able to package and pass them out to the homeless so they’ll have food and snacks accessible.
Although it may not be much I’m s firm believer in we’re blessed to be a blessing and it’s only going to grow from there.
Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs, or other resources you think our readers should check out?
Yes. I listen to the podcast “Earn your leisure” almost daily. The gems they dropped have helped me so much in my business.
