Kimberly, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
New Vision Consulting Services was started April 2021. I helped a good friend start his 501c3, The T. Ross Love Foundation in 2013. I have helped other people start LLC’s or 501c3’s over the years. My purpose in life is in the help’s ministry. In 2021 I prayed to God about starting my own business after I went several years helping others bring their vision to fruition.. The name New Vision Consulting Services came from the scripture Habakkuk 2:2, “Write the vision and make it plain upon tablets, that he may run that readeth it.” Since 2021, I have a steady 10-12 clients that I help keep their LLC or 501c3 in yearly compliance. I have also started an additional five LLC’s and 501c3’s within the last year. I am a member of the Better Business Bureau. I continue to look for various ways to increase my business. It gives me great joy to help others bring their visions to fruition one step at a time.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
My road has been smooth because from the beginning I started my business the right way. I have a really good friend that started her own domestic violence nonprofit in Houston over 20 years ago. She has been my personal consultant the past 13 years. I didn’t take any short cuts. My only struggles may be to continue finding ways to create a constant stream of income on a regular basis. I have a consistent clientele that I keep in annual compliance. I want to ensure that my income outweighs my expenses monthly and then yearly.

Our mission at New Vision Consulting Services, LLC is ensuring each client is equipped with the necessary knowledge and tools required to form and operate a successful business; while seeing new and existing entrepreneurs’ vision come to fruition one step at a time with poise, strength, and boldness.
Serving as an Executive Director for a nonprofit organization the past 12 years gave me life and light. But, I was working and bringing someone else’s vision to fruition one step at a time. I am excited about assisting new and existing organizations with the necessary knowledge required to bring life and light to their own visions.
I have experience coaching as well as actually starting nonprofits or LLC’s from the ground floor. I currently have clients that I am assisting with starting nonprofits and LLC’s from the ground floor. I assist with the following: mission/vision statement creation and reviews; bylaws creation or review; initial budget planning; filing state registration; EIN application completion and submission; board of director training; nonprofit and LLC reinstatement; and Franchise and Excise Tax compliance.
I have clients in the following states: Mississippi, Illinois, Tennessee, and Georgia. I can walk you through the steps to start your business or I can complete the process for you. I am very patient throughout the process. I am not going to overwhelm you with a lot of information. I am assisting you with bringing your vision to fruition. I am on your time and following your timeline.
Ensuring my clients have all of the knowledge to be successful is a major goal of mine.
Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
The things I like best about Memphis are the following: restaurants, museums, places to culturally visit, fun places to take my granddaughter, sports atmosphere, The Central High School (Class of 1990), and the people that I have had the pleasure of meeting throughout the years from working and volunteering within the school system. The least part that I like may be the crime. There is crime everywhere.
