Exploring Life & Business with Patricia Bezerra of Pachees Spa

Today we’d like to introduce you to Patricia Bezerra.

Hi Patricia, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I was born in João Pessoa, Brazil, and my family immigrated to the United States when I was a child. I later returned to Brazil for college before eventually coming back to the U.S. as an adult. Those experiences shaped me deeply and taught me the value of resilience, hard work, family, and caring for others.

My journey into entrepreneurship and skin health was also very personal. I struggled with acne for much of my life, and I understood firsthand how much skin issues can affect your confidence and emotional well-being. After graduating from esthetics school in 2020, I continued investing in advanced education in skincare, ingredients, modalities, and technology.

I started Pachee’s Spa because I saw a need for a more holistic, personalized approach to skincare – one that looks beyond the surface and considers the person as a whole. What began from my own struggles has grown into a space where I can combine my education, personal experience, and passion for helping people feel confident and cared for in their skin.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely has not been smooth sailing. Building a business from scratch comes with a lot of challenges – from learning how to properly launch and run a business to navigating the unexpected personal and health challenges that life can bring.

Entrepreneurship has taught me that you often have to learn as you go. There is no perfect roadmap, and there have been plenty of moments of uncertainty, setbacks, and lessons along the way. It’s not for the faint of heart, but it has been deeply rewarding. Every challenge has pushed me to grow, become more resilient, and build Pachee’s Spa into something that truly reflects my passion and purpose.

We’ve been impressed with Pachees Spa, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
At Pachee’s Spa, I specialize in acne and pro-aging facials, with a holistic approach to skincare that goes beyond simply treating what we see on the surface. I’m passionate about helping my clients understand their skin and teaching them practical things they can incorporate into their everyday lives so they can see lasting improvements – not just a quick fix.

What I believe truly sets me apart is the connection I build with each client. I’ve personally struggled with my skin through different phases of my life, so I understand the emotional side of skin concerns in a very real way. I can relate to my clients not only professionally, but on a personal and emotional level, without judgment.

I’m most proud of creating a space where people feel heard, comfortable, and supported. Skincare can be incredibly personal, and my goal is for every client to leave feeling more knowledgeable, confident, and empowered to care for their skin long after they leave my treatment room.

How do you think about happiness?
So many things bring me joy! My family and friends are at the top of the list. I’m a self-proclaimed cat lady, so my cats definitely make life more fun. I love good food, traveling, laughing a lot, discovering new places, a great outfit, and -honestly – a really good night’s sleep (which is rare for me)!

I’m naturally a very optimistic person and try to focus on the positive, even when life doesn’t go exactly as planned. For me, happiness is often found in the simple things: spending time with the people I love, enjoying new experiences, laughing, and appreciating where I am in life. There’s always something to be grateful for.
