Exploring Life & Business with Ricardo Tippitt of Vylla Home

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ricardo Tippitt.

Hi Ricardo, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
I purchased my first home back in 2015. The experience was great. My Realtor at that time gave me such a great experience it made me want to join the business. I got into the business my first year with a very slow start.

My career started to take off in the second year. I managed to close enough deals in my second year to become eligible to get my Broker license. I am currently an Executive Broker at Vylla Home in Bryant, AR.

This is the best move I have made thus far in my career. My Principal Broker John Pendleton is the best and very inspirational. In the future, I plan to open my own brokerage or manage my own brokerage with Mr. Pendleton as well.

Real estate wasn’t always a passion of mine, but little did I know I was going to love this career. I enjoy helping people buy or sell their property, mentoring other agents, and networking with the community.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Real estate will throw its curves your way. I met some challenges along the way. In my first year alone, I was in the hole. I paid out more money than I made. Every now and then a deal doesn’t fall through because of various reasons.

This taught me a valuable lesson of never counting your money before it is made. I use to struggle with contracts, but with the experience, I have gained over the years I can about master them now. Sometimes dealing with other agents who aren’t as positive as I am can be a struggle as well.

It’s a lot to do and keep up with to get a deal to the closing table. It passes through a lot of hands. So not only are you having to make sure you are doing your job correctly, you have to make sure everyone else involved is doing their job as well.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Vylla Home?
My business focuses on the majority of residential real estate sales. I assist first-time home buyers, custom homes, waterfront homes, waterfront property, luxury homes, investment property, retirement, relocation, new construction, land and acreage, executive homes, historic homes, farmland, and multi-family properties.

What sets me apart from most is that I am an Executive Broker with C2EX endorsement. I have all the knowledge, tools, and professionalism to assist my buyer and sellers to complete each transaction fully and thoroughly. I am proud of the fact that I have been recognized locally and nationally amongst other companies.

At Vylla Home, we have an in-house mortgage company, title company, and of course the real estate side of it as well. We also offer notaries as well. We are a one-stop-shop with very competing commission rates and tools for agents as well. We are the biggest real estate company when it comes to REOs as well.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
In the next 5-10 years, I see myself as a multi-millionaire.

I want to have opened several brokerages across the United States and hired several agents. I want to shift from being in the field to being in the office and helping my agents be successful at what they do. I want to create as many resources as possible for agents and watch the growth.

We will all celebrate at the finish line. I plan to get licensed in a couple of different states and go for what God has for me. This will be a big shift, because it may put me in a position to sacrifice leaving family.
