Faith, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. Are you walking a path—or wandering?
I truly believe that I am currently following the path that God has designed for me. Before I became a licensed Esthetician, I would pray and seek guidance on which career was meant for me. I often felt lost and sensed that I wasn’t fulfilling His purpose while working various jobs. I had a deep desire to help others and to be an entrepreneur, but I wasn’t sure how to pursue that dream.
It wasn’t until I gathered the courage to explore different schools and immerse myself in those inspiring environments that I felt His spirit guiding me. I took this presence as confirmation that I was on the right path.
At times, I admit I feel overwhelmed while managing my business alone. During those moments of uncertainty, I remind myself to keep sight of the bigger picture. That bigger picture is: “If God gave me this vision, He will provide for all my needs.” My only responsibility is to fully surrender to His plan.
Surrendering can often be the most challenging aspect, especially when the urge to control everything arises. However, I am learning the importance of slowing down and taking a deep breath—not because I can’t handle it, but because it is more beneficial to be present and engaged rather than busy and lost in thought.

Different perspectives can often lead to conflict, as everyone has been raised in unique environments, and sometimes these differing views can trigger emotions related to unresolved issues or past trauma.
I believe that by simply focusing on listening to understand rather than listening to respond, people can begin to heal those emotional wounds. When we listen with the intent to understand, we create space for healing through empathy, rather than judgment and pain. This can be challenging, as it requires us to slow down and truly engage with the other person. By mastering the art of understanding, we can reduce the likelihood of being hurt.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
I would tell my younger self, “You are doing a GREAT JOB!” I understand that you’re so focused on your future vision that you may have overlooked the importance of celebrating your current achievements. It’s perfectly fine to pause and appreciate the beauty around you, as you are the gardener of your own life.
Never allow anyone or anything to dim your smile. If something brings you sadness, it wasn’t meant for you, because God is not a God of confusion, but one of peace.
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
The greatest misconception social media has instilled in some individuals is the belief that success occurs overnight. In reality, achieving success takes time and dedication. Many people are unaware of the behind-the-scenes efforts involved in running a business. As an entrepreneur, you often find yourself wearing multiple hats, even with a team in place. It’s common to feel overwhelmed by the expectations you need to meet or create.
My advice for anyone aspiring to become their own business owner is to start with a solid plan, get organized, and don’t hesitate to step out of your comfort zone. Those moments of stepping outside your comfort zone often reveal your true power. Everything will turn out just fine. The easiest part is believing in yourself; the challenge lies in simply getting out there.
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I aspire to be remembered for the unconditional love I provide. As a natural giver, I wish for everyone around me to feel and understand that they are cherished. Life is beautiful, yet it can present challenges when unexpected events arise, whether they are within our control or not. Having that one person with whom you can be your true self and reveal all your layers is truly remarkable, as it allows for authentic vulnerability. Therefore, I strive to express love in every situation.
