Hidden Gems: Meet Abraham Valenzuela of Asaderos Mexican Grill

Today we’d like to introduce you to Abraham Valenzuela

Hi Abraham, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Abraham Valenzuela owns Rancho Grande and Chukis Deli Mexicano in Olive Branch, Southaven, and Memphis TN. He discovered his passion for running restaurants more than 25 years ago and has been a fixture in the DeSoto County food scene, and now the Memphis area.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road to success in the service industry is never an easy one, it’s a risk. To most it’s not worth the risk, to me it has been the most rewarding experience of my life. With the right mindset and people in place anything is possible.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Above all, Asaderos has become my priority as it is a completely new authentic Mexican Grill concept never before seen in Memphis. The chef driven kitchen is phenomenal as our executive chef Cristian Alvarez is from Mexico City and curated the entire menu, we are also hospitality forward and make sure that all guest experience a true taste of Mexico.
