Hidden Gems: Meet Arneisha Fifer of Annsthetics lash studio

Today we’d like to introduce you to Arneisha Fifer.

Hi Arneisha, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started my journey as a lash artist in September 2021 and graduated from esthetics school in February 2023. What began as a passion for lashes grew into Annsthetic by Arneisha, where I offer lash services, supplies, and education to help other artists build their confidence.

My business also carries a deeply personal meaning. The “Ann” in Annsthetic honors my mother, Felicia Ann Flowers, and my teal branding represents ovarian cancer awareness. After losing her to ovarian cancer in June 2024, continuing my business became about more than making a living it became a way to carry her name and memory forward.

My journey hasn’t been easy. Caring for my mother, navigating grief, and being a single mom affected my consistency, and I’ve had to work on rebuilding my clientele. Today, I’m showing up for my business, creating new opportunities, and sharing what I’ve learned with other lash artists. I’m still growing, but I’m proud that I haven’t given up.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. One of my biggest challenges was balancing my business with caring for my mother and then grieving her loss. Being a single mom while trying to keep everything going added another layer of responsibility. There were times when I couldn’t show up as consistently as I wanted to, and that affected my clientele.

Rebuilding has been challenging, too. Having confidence in my work but struggling to get it seen, investing money into my business without always seeing a return, and staying motivated during slow periods have all tested me. I’ve had moments when I questioned whether I should keep going.

I’m learning to give myself grace while also holding myself accountable. This journey has taught me that I can believe in my business and still have hard days. I’m proud that I’m continuing to rebuild, even when progress feels slow.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Annsthetic by Arneisha is a lash studio and supply brand where I offer lash extensions, products for lash artists, and education. My services range from classic and wet sets to wispy, volume, mega volume, and anime styles, along with bottom lashes. I love creating looks that complement each client’s features and give them that extra boost of confidence.

Beyond appointments, I offer lash trays, adhesives, tweezers, and aftercare products. As a working lash artist, I understand how frustrating it can be to struggle with a technique or finding supplies that work for you. That experience shapes how I support other artists through my products, classes, and mentorship, especially with skills like fan making and isolation.

What sets my brand apart is the personal connection behind it. Annsthetic honors my mother, Felicia Ann Flowers, and our teal branding represents ovarian cancer awareness. I’m most proud of building something that carries her memory while allowing me to express my creativity and help others.

I want readers to know there’s a real person behind this brand, someone who understands starting over and is committed to growing. Whether you’re booking a lash appointment or purchasing supplies for your own business, I want you to feel welcomed, supported, and confident asking questions.

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
It’s hard to choose one specific childhood memory, but my favorites are the simple moments spent with my family, laughing, being together, and enjoying each other’s company. Since losing my mom, those everyday moments mean even more to me. They remind me how special time with the people you love really is.
