Hidden Gems: Meet Ashley Holt of Ashley Holt Media Group, She Means Business Magazine and Ecosystem

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashley Holt.

Hi Ashley, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My story began with a self-worth crisis.. That realization reshaped how I rebuilt my life and why my work focuses on helping women reclaim their worth from the inside out. Years ago, I reached a breaking point that forced me to confront how often I was shrinking, settling, and disconnecting from my own value. That moment changed everything and revealed a truth that now guides my work: confidence isn’t the problem — self-worth is.
That moment became a mirror and I also realized my story wasn’t unique — and that’s when it clicked: we don’t have a confidence problem, we have a self-worth crisis. Women everywhere are taught to perform, perfect, and prove their value, while never being taught that their worth is inherent. It isn’t something we have to earn but it is something we have to choose.
With two daughters, fifty dollars, and at rock bottom, I made a decision to rebuild my life from the inside out. Through radical accountability, awareness, and gratitude, I began rewiring the beliefs that kept me small and reclaiming my voice.
That reconstruction became the foundation for She Means Business — not as a brand, but as a movement. Today, my work centers on helping women rebuild self-worth as the foundation for confidence, visibility, leadership and impact. Once you believe you’re worthy of more, you stop settling for less. And when women rise in their worth, they don’t just change their own lives — they change the world.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely wasn’t a smooth road, but the challenges became the foundation of my work. What I discovered is that transformation happens in stages, and that insight became the Self-Worth RESET — a five-step process to rewire limiting beliefs, reclaim your voice, rebuild from truth, release shame, and reset your mindset.
That process didn’t just change my life — it clarified my purpose. It’s why I built the She Means Business ecosystem and the 10 Power Moves of the SMB Blueprint, which translate that work into practical steps to help women step into visibility, leadership, and self-worth with confidence and clarity. This work is my place of impact, and my goal is to help others access the same power and freedom that comes from fully owning their worth.

Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
I see risk as alignment. — and data shows that 82% of successful entrepreneurs say calculated risk is essential to growth. When your choices are aligned with who you truly are, risk becomes the doorway to expansion. To me, calculated risk is really intentional risk: choosing to act from potential instead of fear. It’s the moment you stop reacting to circumstances and start creating from purpose. Every meaningful opportunity in my life — from rebuilding at rock bottom to standing on the red carpet in Beverly Hills — came from choosing courage over comfort. The bigger risk would have been staying small, hidden, or disconnected from my purpose.
