Hidden Gems: Meet Carlton Green of Majestic Works Cleaning Service LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Carlton Green

Hi Carlton, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started off 8 years ago with with group me and my friends created called “Demfolks”. I was making music as a past time and outlet for all the these I was going through in life. I began to take it seriously when our group was asked to perform with a local rock band called Negro Terror. After the response I received performing live i knew I was supposed to be on stage. I’ve performed around the US and been stamped by prominent artists in Memphis. I consider myself a Negro spiritualist. The music i make can raise your energy and spirit but also make you wanna stop a hater or evil entity out lol.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has definitely been a rocky road but that is part of life. As I progressed over the years, my group dismantled and life kept lifing lol. I created another group called “Smashbrosbeats” and I feel it helped me heal some from my last group I which we were all friends. I went through alot with trusting other Og artists in the city throughout my time in the scene as well. Sometimes it felt like the Ogs were intimidating but all I ever wanted to do was express myself and pay homage. I’m grateful for every experience I’ve had though. It Molded me into who I am now.

As you know, we’re big fans of Majestic Works Cleaning Service LLC. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
I was born in Littlerock Arkansas and moved to Memphis when I was 9. I pretty much stayed in the Raleigh Frayser area and attended Raleigh Egypt and Craigmont High. I’ve always been in love with music since I could remember. My dad and old sister would let me recited Bone thugs and harmony lyrics at 6 years old lol. I also was big on drawing group and selling anything I could lmao. I had a rough childhood. My oldest sister made it better with the way she protected and loved me. It was times we had nothing but air sandwiches to eat but she new how to distract me and our younger siblings with her sense of humor and creativity.
