Today we’d like to introduce you to Danielle Williams.
Hi Danielle, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I am a Memphis native with a heart for giving back by creating charitable events for the community from hosting back-to-school drives, Christmas events to provide gifts for kids in underprivileged communities and assists in food drives for the homeless. I am active member of my church, a lover and supporter of all things Memphis with a history of event planning.
About four years ago, I went out of town and went to a bar that I thought was amazing. We had nothing like it in Memphis. So, I attempted to open a wine bar but Covid came. Now, I’m doing a wine tasting at pop-up shops with exclusive wines around the city until I can open a dedicated location.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Some of the struggles along the way have been dealing with Covid restrictions and finding the best locations for pop up shops for wine tastings.

I am the Founder and Owner of Le Pour. I offer wine tastings and wine designs all over the city. My wines are not the wines you get from grocery or liquor stores. I get my wines from small batch family-owned wineries in Tennessee and Georgia.
What sets me apart is my customer service and my positive outlook on everything. I’m most proud of the pop-up shops, I co-sponsor with Bountiful Harvest. This puts me in touch with some awesome small business owners which I can support.
Is there anyone who you would like to thank or give credit to?
The wineries I do business with help me do my best. The owners speak life into me and educate me about their awesome products.
Also, my family, friends, and my church family The New Olivet Worship Center are extremely supportive. I have a village that wants me to succeed.
