Today we’d like to introduce you to Shannon Hill.

Hi Shannon, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’ve been cooking all of my life. I knew since I was 7 years old that I wanted to be a chef. After high school, I went straight to culinary school. Upon graduating, I worked at multiple restaurants and food establishments.

I knew that I wanted to be in the food industry, but restaurants weren’t for me so I started my own catering company which grew into a seasoning company.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It’s been fairly smooth. I don’t consider the few obstacles I’ve had to face as struggles because they made me a better businesswoman.

The biggest hurdle I’ve had to get over was navigating a market that wasn’t as popular. I didn’t know anyone else who was in my market so I learned a lot through trial and error.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Reckless Flavor Seasonings was founded in October of 2019. We specialize in low and no-sodium seasoning blends. We’re most known for our low sodium blackened seasoning which happens to be the first seasoning blend we released.

Our vision is what sets us apart from others. I created these seasoning blends to educate people on how to eat healthy and flavorful food without compromising their health.

Brand-wise, I’m most proud of the taste of our products. When you hear low sodium, most people will think of low flavor. My brand has shown people otherwise.

What does success mean to you?
I define success as making 1 step towards your goal every day.

Pricing:

  • $10 per seasoning
  • $36/ bundle
