Today we’d like to introduce you to Shea Lynn Jones.
Hi, Shea Lynn; we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
It all started when I was a little girl! I always dreamed of being in the beauty world. In 2007, I made that jump. I was pregnant with my son and knew I had to make the best future for him and me. I graduated from beauty school and opened my salon in Arkansas, where I have been working for myself for 15 years until I moved to Bartlett, TN, and started a family and new hair salon here.
Can you talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned? Looking back, has it been easy or smooth in retrospect?
After making the move to Tennessee, It has been tough starting over and having to rebuild an empire that you already once built, but it’s been an incredible journey so far; nothing that is worth it comes easy! I have gained so many new clients! The opportunity and people in this community make it all worth it! Building new clients and creating a family is what it’s all about.
As you know, we’re big fans of Shea Lynn’s Beauty Bar. What can you tell our readers who might need to be more familiar with the brand?
I specialize in all hair types, from blonding and coloring to pretty much anything beauty. I offer various services like hair extensions, lash extensions, lifts, tints, chemical straighteners, body sugaring, waxing, wedding hair, special events, and make-up. I’m most known for my Blondes! I also offer permanent cosmetics, which I have been doing for 2 years. I specialize in micro-shading, eyeliner, brows, lips, and other PMU services. I aim to make everyone feel beautiful when they leave my salon. The most gratifying feeling for a hairstylist is seeing the happiness on your clients’ faces.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Success to me is growing and evolving in your business. I want to grow and build a clientele that’s more like family.
