Hi Tekedra, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I originally started my business based on assisting pregnant mother’s with wellness services in addition I offered birth Doula services. During that time the need didn’t seem to be really high and I am also not from Memphis so it was a lot of knocks that were unanswered. However, as time went on I took another route and begin offering chair massages at small businesses who wanted to incorporate wellness initiatives for their employees. Upon providing these services I met someone who told me about women who needed my services at a local country club and I’ve been at that location ever since. Now I offer individual wellness services to a wide range of clientele from mother’s, athletes, children and even entertainers.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It wasn’t easy at all especially navigating in a new city and state. The biggest struggle of all was getting people educated on the benefits of wellness services and self care. There are many people that don’t rely on wellness as a priority for their self care, soul care and mental health. In these cases massage seems like a luxury not a necessity when that is the furthest from the truth.

I am a licensed Medical Massage Practitioner that specialize in medical modalities such as Cupping, Lymphatic Drainage, Wellness and Recovery. I am greatly known for my healing abilities and facilitating healing in others. I am set apart from others because I have a private wellness practice that attracts those who live and aspire to have an active lifestyle. I am most proud of my brand as I am the face of wellness and how incorporating the practice of such keeps me grounded in such chaotic times in the World. I found my purpose early in life and have always known that being an impact in others lives would be much more rewarding than anything else that I could do on the planet.
