Hi Gisselle, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Jireh Events Co. began with a simple passion for celebrating life’s special moments. We started by offering small décor rentals, helping family and friends create meaningful, beautiful gatherings. What began as a hobby quickly grew into something more as we discovered a love for event design and organization.

Over time, we naturally transitioned into the wedding industry, expanding our services to include planning and coordination. Today, Jireh Events Co. focuses on creating seamless, intentional, and memorable experiences for our clients, combining creativity with structure to bring each vision to life.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
One of the biggest challenges has been overcoming imposter syndrome—feeling like I didn’t fully belong or wasn’t “good enough,” especially while growing in such a competitive industry. There were moments of self-doubt, particularly in the early stages.

However, what kept me grounded was the consistent support and feedback from our clients. Seeing how happy, grateful, and trusting they were reminded me of the value we bring. Over time, I’ve learned to shift my mindset—recognizing that growth comes with discomfort, and that our work speaks for itself.

We’ve been impressed with Jireh Events Co, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Jireh Events Co. is a wedding and event planning company specializing in coordination, décor styling, and curated rental pieces. We focus on creating seamless, well-executed events while bringing each client’s vision to life in a way that feels personal and intentional.

What sets us apart is our large inventory of décor and rentals that we’re able to offer at a discounted price, helping clients achieve an elevated look while staying within budget. We also provide officiant services through a trusted team of wonderful individuals, along with certified planning and coordination services—making us a one-stop resource for our clients.

We take a hands-on approach and guide our clients through the entire process, ensuring they feel supported, organized, and stress-free leading up to their big day. From timeline management to full décor execution, we prioritize both structure and creativity.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
Over the next 5–10 years, the wedding and event industry will continue to shift toward more personalized, experience-driven celebrations. Clients are prioritizing unique details that reflect their story while still being mindful of their budgets.

There is also a growing demand for convenience, with more couples seeking all-in-one services that simplify the planning process. Overall, businesses that can combine creativity, efficiency, and a strong client experience will continue to stand out.
