Hi Jasmon, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My journey started with a passion for helping people feel confident in their own skin. I’ve always loved all things beauty, but once I discovered the world of esthetics and waxing, something just clicked. I got licensed and dove headfirst into perfecting my craft—not just technically, but also how I connect with clients. I wanted every service to feel like more than just a wax—it needed to feel like an experience.
Starting my own business, Sculpted Wax Co., was a leap of faith. I knew I wanted to create a space where clients could feel safe, seen, and sculpted—literally and emotionally. It hasn’t always been easy—especially juggling entrepreneurship with motherhood—but every challenge has made me more intentional about how I show up for myself and others.
Now, I’m not just focused on removing hair—I’m building a brand that empowers people to love themselves, invest in self-care, and walk out feeling like the best version of themselves.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, but every challenge has shaped me into the businesswoman I am today. Starting out, I had to learn a lot through trial and error—how to manage my time, how to market myself, and how to create a solid client experience from start to finish. On top of that, balancing motherhood and entrepreneurship is a daily challenge. There are days where I’m tired, overwhelmed, or questioning if I’m doing enough—but I always remind myself of my ‘why.’
There were times when bookings were slow or when I doubted if I was on the right path. But I’ve learned to trust the process and give myself grace. Every setback taught me something valuable, whether it was about business, boundaries, or believing in myself. I’m still growing, but I’m proud of how far I’ve come.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Sculpted Wax Co. is a private waxing studio where I specialize in full-body waxing for women, with a strong focus on Brazilians. I’m known for creating a clean, comfortable, and judgment-free experience where clients can truly relax. My goal is to make waxing less intimidating and more empowering—whether it’s your first time or your fiftieth.
What really sets me apart is how intentional I am about client care. From the moment someone books to the moment they walk out the door, I want them to feel seen, heard, and taken care of. I don’t rush services, I educate my clients about aftercare and skin health, and I take pride in being detail-oriented and gentle while still getting amazing results.
I’m currently working on developing my own post-wax care products to give clients everything they need to maintain their results at home. Brand-wise, I’m most proud of the trust I’ve built with my clients and how Sculpted Wax Co. is becoming known for professionalism with a personal touch.
At the end of the day, my brand is about more than smooth skin—it’s about helping women feel confident, cared for, and confident in their bodies.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
First and foremost, I have to give credit to God. Without Him, none of this would be possible. I’m truly grateful for His guidance and strength.
My mom has been my rock through this entire journey. She’s the most solid and supportive woman I know, and she’s always had my back no matter what new idea or project I’m diving into. She’s the one who’s always believed in me when I doubted myself.
My fiancé is another huge part of my success. He keeps me level-headed, especially when my emotions start running wild in business. His logical approach helps me navigate the decisions that sometimes feel overwhelming. I don’t know where I’d be without him.
And of course, my best friend has been pivotal, too. She’s the one who pushed me to take the leap and get my business off the ground. She told me straight up to kick it into high gear, and I’m so thankful for that tough love because it really helped me get moving.
