Today we’d like to introduce you to Sokpheak Doeung.
Hi Sokpheak, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My story begins long before Cosmic Novia Seraph had a name. I come from a refugee family lineage. Growing up with that history wove something deep into me, an awareness of resilience, but also of the invisible emotional weight that travels quietly across generations. The grief that doesn’t always have words. The survival instinct that gets passed down through blood and silence. Even when those stories aren’t spoken aloud, they shape how you move through the world and how you hold other people’s pain.
From a young age, I also felt something else like a whisper from the unseen world. A pull toward light, sound, and something I could only describe as sacred purpose. I didn’t have language for it then. But it never left me.
For many years, I moved through the corporate world with a strong background in Financial Literacy. I have built real skills there through leadership, structure, how to support teams and create environments where people could grow. That chapter mattered. But underneath it, I was also walking through my own season of burnout. The kind where you have everything that looks like success on the outside and still feel hollowed out on the inside. That season became my greatest teacher.
I began studying sound healing, Akashic wisdom, and soul-centered practices, and I watched something profound happen both in myself and in the people, I started guiding. When people were given permission to slow down and reconnect with the deeper truth of who they are, they didn’t just feel better. They remembered themselves. They came back to life.
That’s when I understood this was my calling. I founded Cosmic Novia Seraph as a sanctuary for that remembrance, a place where people could move from the exhaustion of leading on empty to the grounded, soul-aligned leadership they were always meant to embody. The name itself carries the intention of everything I do: Cosmic — the expansive universe, the limitless potential that lives in every person. Novia — new beginnings, self-love, the fresh start that is always available to us. Seraphim — the angelic beings of light and purity, reflecting the spiritual illumination I aim to bring into every life I touch. Together, the name is a promise that you can expand, begin again, and rise all at once. That’s when I understood this was my calling. This work has always been guided by something larger than me. I just simply said yes to it.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Building something rooted in presence and healing asks a particular kind of courage because you are the offering. There is no product to hide behind. It’s your story, your energy, your willingness to be seen. There were seasons of real self-doubt. Moments of wondering if I was moving fast enough, if the right people would find me, if what I was building truly mattered. Stepping away from a corporate identity to inhabit a spiritual one also meant navigating assumptions about what healing work looks like, about who it’s for, about whether it belongs alongside business and leadership.
I also walked through my own deep burnout before I built this practice. And I want to be honest about that because it wasn’t a small thing. It was the kind of exhaustion that makes you question everything you built and everything you thought you were. That was the crucible that forged Cosmic Novia Seraph. What brought me through was the same practice I now offer others: coming back inward. Learning to trust my own soul’s rhythm rather than measuring myself against timelines that were never mine. Learning to receive the guidance I was being given, even when the path forward wasn’t fully visible yet. Every challenge I’ve faced is now part of what I offer. The burnout taught me to recognize it in others the specific way a high-achieving woman holds her exhaustion, how she minimizes it, how much courage it takes for her to finally ask for help. Those challenges didn’t redirect my path. They became my path.
As you know, we’re big fans of Cosmic Novia Seraph, LLC. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Cosmic Novia Seraph is a healing and coaching practice devoted to helping professional women rise from burnout into what I call Seraphic Balance, a state where success feels peaceful and purpose feels natural. I hold the titles of an Ordained Seraphim Director, Celestial Coach, Akashic Librarian, and Sound Healer. Each of those isn’t just a credential it’s a dimension of how I show up for the women I work with.
My services include Cosmic Sound Healing, where I use crystal singing bowls, my shamanic drum, and my own voice to transmit healing frequencies that actively clear tension and rebalance the body’s energy field at a cellular level. Unlike meditation, which requires effort and focus, sound healing is a receiving experience. You simply allow. The vibrations do the work.
I also offer Akashic Soul guidance, where we would access the energetic record of a soul’s journey to bring forward the wisdom, patterns, and divine gifts that are uniquely yours. And through 1:1 Celestial Guidance, I merge high-level strategy with divine wisdom so you leave not only with spiritual clarity but with practical next steps you can actually use in your life and work.
My signature offering is The Empowered Balanced Pathway™ — a 12-week journey that moves through four phases: Foundation, Alignment, Integration, and Ascension. It’s designed for the high-achieving woman who has been leading from sacrifice for too long and is ready to lead from wholeness instead. What I want people to know most is this work isn’t about becoming someone new. It’s about remembering who you already are and building a life that reflects that truth.
I believe what sets me apart most is that I work at the intersection of places that rarely meet. Most healers stay in the spiritual lane. Most coaches stay in the strategic lane. I was built by both and I refuse to separate them, because I’ve seen what happens when women only get half of what they need.
I am an Ordained Seraphim Director, meaning my work carries an angelic lineage and a divine commission that goes beyond technique or training. I channel healing through my voice, through sacred frequencies, and through Akashic wisdom that accesses the unique blueprint of each soul I work with. That is not something you can learn in a weekend certification. It is something I was called into and have spent years deepening. At the same time, I bring the grounded discipline of a corporate leadership background. I know how to help someone translate a spiritual awakening into an actual strategy for their life. I know how to hold structure alongside surrender.
And beneath all of it is my personal story the refugee lineage, the burnout I walked through myself, the seasons of uncertainty that taught me what resilience really costs and what it really gives. I don’t guide women through terrain I haven’t walked myself. That’s the difference. I’m not here to inspire you from a distance. I’m here to walk alongside you with both the fire of the Seraphim and the practicality of someone who has lived it.
If you’re curious about sound healing, ready to explore the Akashic records, interested in The Empowered Balanced Pathway™, or simply looking for a space where you can breathe and be held start with a free Discovery Call. It’s a 30-minute conversation where we map where you are and what you need. No pressure. Just presence.
“You are not here to seek the light. You are here to remember that you are the light.”
What was your favorite childhood memory?
My favorite childhood memories are the the trips my parents took me to in New Orleans, Nashville, and other places where we were able to explore and visit different temples. My parents would help out with the elders on ceremonies and festivals where they had me join them.
My parents who are the strongest people I know, without question. They are the reason I understood resilience from the inside. They showed me what it looks like to carry hard things with grace to survive without losing tenderness, and to love deeply even when life asks a great deal of you. The foundation of everything I do was laid by them long before I had words for what I was being taught. They are also the reason I believe so deeply that healing is not just personal, it is generational. When one person in a lineage chooses to do this work, something shifts for everyone who came before and everyone who will come after. That is part of what drives me. To my parents: thank you for being my first teachers in what it means to rise.
