Rhonda Aaron shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Hi Rhonda, thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to share your story, experiences and insights with our readers. Let’s jump right in with an interesting one: What do you think others are secretly struggling with—but never say?
I think many people quietly struggle with discipline. You can have all the desire, passion and talent in the world, but without discipline, it’s hard to stay consistent and turn those dreams into results.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I am Rhonda Aaron, owner and publicist of BL Brand PR Agency, a full-service branding and publicity firm that helps businesses, creatives, and entertainers shine on local and national platforms. I’m also a national award-winning leader and empowerment speaker, passionate about empowering people to reach their next level.
What makes my work exciting and honestly, a little glamorous—is that I get to meet incredible celebrities, experience top-tier service, and enjoy the perks of a life behind the scenes that most people only dream about—like black car service, four-star hospitality, and front-row access to unforgettable events. But at the heart of it, my favorite part of this job is helping my clients tell their story in a way that inspires, influences, and elevates their brand.
Right now, I’m focused on building transformational experiences and campaigns, including webinars, VIP events, and curated media opportunities that connect my clients to the audiences they deserve. BL Brand PR Agency isn’t just about publicity—it’s about creating momentum, unlocking potential, and delivering results that leave a lasting impression.
Okay, so here’s a deep one: What part of you has served its purpose and must now be released?
2025 has been a year of mental transition for me and being intentional about pouring into me. Often, the part of us that has served its purpose is tied to old beliefs, fears, or habits that no longer support our growth. For example, we can carry self-doubt but can’t allow it to hold us back because some of the best things in life are on the other side of fear. People pleasing is another to a degree to simply maintain relationships, but it can drain your energy. Releasing these doesn’t mean denying who you are, it means honoring what once served me, now I consciously let go to make room for growth, clarity, and your next level of potential.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
As a founder of a non-profit organization since 2007, there has been several times that I have wanted to give up. I had to remind myself many times that winners never quit, and quitters never win. I have learned over the years that lessons are blessings and that you really never lose you either win or learn. It’s easy to give up but when you understand that your purpose is bigger than any temporary emotion that would cause you to quit. It can definitely be challenging and make you want to give up but it only increases not only your faith but belief in self.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My love of supporting women’s empowerment and showing up as a true professional on all platforms from in person to social media, my brands matter and the image attached to those brands.
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I want people to share how I made difference in their lives from motivational chats, creating safe spaces for women and serving my community. I love me time and winding down with a good movie and glass of wine because balance is so important.
