Life & Work with Alyssa Raymond

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alyssa Raymond.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Through times of self-isolation, I struggled to find things that kept me entertained. Also through quarantine, my sister and I got more into fashion, taking and posting outfit photos on Instagram. So with the combination of my boredom, creativity, and love for fashion, I started brialityyy!

I wanted to sell things unlike everyone else, so it was important for me to make trending and unique designs while also giving people the freedom to create their own. I’ve absolutely loved every second of the journey, the stress, the late nights, and the slow months, all of it shaped me into the businesswoman I am today.

Now, I have a running website, constantly growing and working with other young artists, entrepreneurs, and brands.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It was definitely not a smooth road. Starting my business with a simple idea and little structure definitely taught me my lesson. I struggled greatly with creative blocks, organization, my platform, marketing, and balancing my business with school and other extracurriculars.

But these hardships were all worth it, as they taught me valuable lessons that I really needed to learn in order to grow.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I specialize in custom clothing and other items! I feel like this is what sets me apart, the fact that I have trending designs but also allow customers to bring their ideas to life.

Whether it be a hoodie and jeans for your next fit picture or decor for your next event, I can make it happen! I am most proud of being able to fulfill almost every request, it’s rare for me to turn people away.

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
This is a topic me and my dad debate often, I would love to have brialityyy for the many years to come. But it is another challenge I face as all items are currently handmade. And as I go to college and hopefully compete in sports, I have to learn how to adjust.

We have had discussions of drop shipping and maintaining my business through college, but it is honestly a work in progress!

Alyssa has worked so hard to get her business up and running. She is doing so well. I have ordered several items from her and have never been disappointed. The quality of the items are top notch! Great job, young lady.
