Life & Work with Michael Grice of Memphis

Today we’d like to introduce you to Michael Grice.

Hi Michael, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started taking social media seriously in 2020. In the beginning I didn’t want to do it, but my mom is the one who convinced me to give it a try. Without my mom convincing me to do it I don’t think I would be doing it. Through social media God brought me my wife. We met through TikTok while she was living in North Carolina. My wife convinced me to start doing food reviews, before her I had no interest in doing so. Without God, my mom, and my wife I wouldn’t be doing what I am today. Social media has brought me so much joy. From traveling the world, meeting some amazing people, and singing for NBA, MLB, and NFL teams. God is truly amazing & I am thankful for this amazing opportunity he has blessed me with.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It most definitely hasn’t been smooth. When I had my first TikTok page in 2020, the very first day I reached 100K followers my page was banned. I also have been on YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook over 10 years but really had no reach. I reached 1 million followers on Instagram in 2024 after being on there for over a decade. Along with my Facebook recently hitting 153K followers after being on it over decade. My YouTube has reached 68K subscribers after a decade. Moral of the story is patience is key. Even through frustration, and rebranding. It won’t always happen when you think it should. Things I thought I was ready for at 20 God made me wait to receive it at 29. I am grateful for all my lessons. They only sharpen my mind & they increase my faith in my lord and savior.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a content creator, social media influencer, music artist, graphic designer, writer, actor, etc. I wear alot of hats, and I thank God for trusting me with his gifts. I’m most proud of meeting my wife through social media, and singing for professional sports teams. Singing for the Lakers, Grizzlies, Dodgers, and Rams have been so amazing to me. That became a dream that I never knew was 1. Also touching the lives of people around the world, the positivity & love they show me continues to push me.

Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
In order to win you sometimes have to bet on yourself. You have to take a chance, take a chance scared, lost, broke, just take a chance. I always say I would rather for a person to try & fail than to never try at all. Because if you try & fail at least you know you tried. But if you never try then you never know, you could’ve been the next big thing. The next millionaire, the next person to change the world, next person to create generational wealth for your family. But you won’t know because you never tried.
