Meet Bink Taylor of West-haven (Westwood) (whitehaven)

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bink Taylor

Bink, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
When I was younger, I use to draw all the time, specifically designs. The designs wasn’t the best but it would be girls on a runway and outfits I drew. From a young age I had a niche for fashion, which my style is some of the reasons for my viral moments. For instance the viral rhinestone shirt was everywhere. How I started modeling? I’ve been told by everyone my whole I should model, I know I didn’t want to be a the ideal, standard runway model. I love the concept of art, so I knew the type of shoots I wanted to create would be fun or inspire someone to do. I took a course, there is a photographer in Memphis, directedbyskin, she offered modeling courses. I believe the course was a month or two long and she helped with the typical things but the most important advice she gave was to always have confidence. That is the biggest lesson I’ve learned and used consistently while creating.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has never been easy, I started with little to no followers. I pushed myself to work and create as much as I could. It was hard at first but once everyone saw consistency within my own work I was creating at the time, people began asking me to model for them and their businesses. I was modeling almost everyday one summer and unexpectedly modeling was my main income! My page grew so much within so little time, I began to overwork myself and then I became depressed and lost my creative spunk for a while. I dealt with that for
almost a year so I stopped posting, I noticed my page was losing so many followers and that led to me losing motivation.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m a creative. I love anything that deals with art, fashion, creative direction, and modeling. I would say I specialize in fashion and fun editorial modeling. The most proud moment I’ve had within working in the creative world would be, my face everywhere and people knowing who Bink is, also most photographers and other models wanting to always work with me because they genuinely love my work ethic and my skills. I believe what sets me apart from others is that I can do it all! I can style you, model, and be a creative director.

Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
I’m always willing to work or collab with anyone that reach out to me!
