Meet D’vyne B.

Today we’d like to introduce you to D’vyne B.

Hi D’vyne, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started doing music at the age of 10 years old, professionally at the age 0f 13. I am a recording artist first, but MooShooBeatz Productions was created in January 0f 2019 when I just turned 14.

I got started in music production using MusicMakerJam, really corny. But the feeling I was able to experience with creating, was amazing. I worked hard, all while balancing out school. Still to this day, I balance school with all of my entrepreneurial ventures.

Now we’re getting sync placements, partnered with Beatstars Publishing/Sony ATV, and working with amazing, talented individuals from all over the world.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has been a crazy road! Omg!

First and foremost, I’m underage. So running a business at 17 now is the hardest thing I’ve ever done. Another obstacle I’ve faced is being a young woman. Only 3% of producers are female, so when you are starting a company being in that small percentage, it can be difficult!

But those adversities made me go a lot harder than most not only in music but in life.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am D’vyne, Founder/CEO of MooShooBeatz Productions. I am a recording artist first, along with being a serial entrepreneur. I am also the Vice President and Business Developer of a media consulting company, and co-owner of a luxury clothing brand. So I specialized in a lot of areas.

Depending on the setting, I am known for either one or more of my businesses. Some know me as the social media guru, others know me for my skills in the booth. It all depends on where I’m at.

I am most proud of all of my accomplishments as a 17-year-old entrepreneur and creator. I have achieved much within a couple of years within MooShooBeatz Productions, including getting placements, collaborating with platinum producers, and just networking with amazing people.

What sets me apart is again, my age. I just started giving myself credit for what I do and how much I take on. Running businesses while in the midst of graduating high school a year early is not easy, but is surely worth it.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
Whew, I’ve had so many supporters! First and foremost, my mother. That’s my rock. She taught me a lot about what I know about business management and planning. She has invested in my music career and I could not be more grateful. I also love my boyfriend.

That’s my ride or die right there. One of my biggest cheerleaders. I love all of my clients, mentors, and advocates. They have helped me mature and grow in the most efficient way possible. I love everyone that supports my entrepreneurial journey to my musical journey.

I thank higher power every day for every encounter. Special shoutout to Bentley Records, 4Streams, and Devyne Business Consulting.
