Today we’d like to introduce you to Ethan Fingold.
Hi Ethan, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
MysticDeath Creature vocalist from Buffalo, New York, started in a popular DEATHCORE band in Buffalo, became a famous meme & tried out for American Idol, and landed me on the Oscars, Jimmy Fallon, Tosh.0, ridiculousness.
Fresh off the boat, & the Harley Quinn movie Birds of Prey and many more TV shows, famous YouTube channels & took over Hollywood the list goes on; not only that, but I ended up collaborating and linking up with Legendary M.C. MACK from Memphis, Tennessee formally from Three 6 Mafia & Kamikaze (KKZ) after that we went on to release a record called KamiKaze Kreaturez which features (RUN DMC), Bone Thugs N Harmony, Spice 1, LIL Flip, Kingpin Skinny Pimp, DEVOURMENT, Berried Alive, & $uicideboy$ on March 4th.
We released another new record under THE KAZE, “timez up Part 2,” the 2nd record in 24 years now with a new genre brewing called MysticDeath Trap Metal. The creature influences the entire world and now even has music coming out with Members of Wu-Tang Clan and other very legendary metal artists such as Emmure, I declare War, Body snatcher, and even the Phil x, the guitar player for Bon Jovi & IRA Black.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The very crazy hectic long road of going through fame but still having to work regular jobs such as gas stations and retail stores but the thing that kept me going was promoting nonstop and just doing the most outrageous things to make people laugh and have no choice but to check out my music or at least never forget that the creature exists.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am most proud of creating my own genre of music called MysticDeath TrapMetal and influencing the entire music world bringing rap, metal, and all elements of music and worlds together not only through just music but famous TV shows and movies like American Idol, and Jimmy Fallon and being on the Oscars.
Everything I’ve ever said I was gonna do and accomplish I have done and inspired so many creatures to forever be creatures, I still create music and actually do features with any artist that wants to work for a fair price.
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
Ever since I was a kid, I’ve done this thing where I actually have to physically rock my body back and forth in my bed on my mattress every night or any chance I get to calm myself down and really get into my music and remind myself that I’m me and will always be myself and everything will be okay and I can do anything I want to do in life.
I have literally accomplished everything I ever physically said I was gonna do some people call it “rhythmic pattern disorder” but honestly when I was a baby I used to hit my head on the floor and I would not sleep until my mother bought me a Walkman “CD player” and the musical soundtrack to the wrestling show called Tough enough 2.
At the time and once I discovered what music through headphones can do I started to rock my body back n forth instead of hitting my head on the floor, very very odd and I have never met anyone else that has to do this but till this day, I still roll back n forth on my bed until I’m satisfied and get into my music.
