Meet Jak Fiddler of Nashville

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jak Fiddler.

Hi Jak, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started off hanging out in bars, honky-tonks, and recording studios with my grandfather. I sang on stage for the first time when I was four years old.
I wrote my first song at 10 years old and continued writing through my teenage years. I was always searching for my sound and my voice.
In 2018 my wife pushed me to stop working for other people and start doing my own thing. That’s when I really focused on finding my sound and developing my brand. My main goal was to be myself and never compromise.
2025 really seemed to be a breakout year for me; I finally got everything exactly where I wanted. I found my style, my voice, and most importantly I did not compromise on anything!

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has definitely not been a smooth road. There was a time where I stepped away from music. I had some very discouraging moments and felt it best to quit. It is crazy how music can overpower the negativity. No matter where I have been in life, music has always been there for me. At this point in my life, there is not a day that goes by that I’m not writing, recording, or casually playing guitar.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
A lot of people would classify me as a singer-songwriter, but I am so much more. I am an artist. I write, record, perform, network, market, and create. My main focus is my band, The Jak Fiddler Band. I think what sets me apart from a lot of other artists is when people try to describe my style and they cannot put me in a genre box. It has been best described as “music”. I write songs based on stories, conversations, and real-life observations.
Additionally, I am a high energy performer. Even when I play solo, I can hold the attention of the room.I take a lot of pride in my ability to connect with my audience on a personal level.

What matters most to you? Why?
Being genuine is what matters most. The person you see on stage or out in public is the same person I am at home. For me it is all about the music, all the time. Music can heal, change, and save the world. I am so thankful to have a small part in it.
