Today we’d like to introduce you to Jasmine Diggs.
Hi Jasmine, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My story all begins as a young child sharing the kitchen with my grandmother. Whenever she was prepping for meals, I was right behind her! I was the prep, the taste tester, the mixer, and just about whatever my grandmother needed me to be.
When I started my own family, I became more serious in the kitchen. I played with different recipes to expand my taste buds. A few years ago, I signed up for social media and started posting my dishes. I received some amazing feedback from friends. The most common feedback I received, was that I should sell to the public. So I did!
I started with selling Smoked Gouda Alfredo plates. A HUGE HIT! After a few months, I decided to start catering. So I did. And I can say that is the best decision I could have made! I offer brunch, private dinners luncheon with a buffet-style or individual plating!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I’ve struggled plenty of times from a few events. But, they only made me stronger and those struggles also helped me plan better for the next events. It feels good to talk about the struggling along my journey because I can help the next person to save a few mistakes.
But I can say, PLEASE PREP AND PLAN AHEAD to save time and anxiety lol.

I am a creative caterer. I love to add a touch of pazazz to my work. From tablescape decor to add extra flavor to your food.
Brunch is one of my most popular services. I enjoy it just to hear how AMAZING my shrimp and grits are! It brings so much joy to my heart. I’m most proud of how I became so loved and wanted by people who see how hard I work and how much I offer with my pricing.
What sets me apart from others is the flavor of my food, presentation, and customer service!
Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
People who have NEVER met me have made such an impact on my life and business! From giving me advice, knowledge, and amazing energy overall! I always look forward to connecting to my clients because I know after each event I am walking out feeling 10 times more confident.

Digg is Catering is absolutely the best!! Wow, the food is delicious, her presentation is breath taking and her amazing funny, witty personality adds that added touch. I lIve in New Orleans many years and have experienced great, superb catering and great tasting food and I will put her overall business up against some of the greatest caters I know in New Orleans!!!!!💞💞💞
