Hi LaToya & Jerry, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
Well, it all started with just a vision back in 2018 after we got married. My husband and I have always been big on helping others. We were both interested in financial literacy and how we can improve our lives as a young couple.
We also had a vision that would change other people’s lives. We notice the lack of education in financial literacy in our community. We decided to take our knowledge and implement it by starting our own credit repair company.
In late 2019, we established Reed Credit Group. We both were scared and anxious..lol It was definitely one of the best moments of our lives. We are growing every day and it is an amazing feeling. We are living our dream while helping others along the way.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Honestly, If you’re starting from scratch in your business there is no such thing as a smooth road, lol. It was definitely challenging when we first started Reed Credit Group.
Our biggest challenge was marketing. I am a very shy person and my husband was not good at creating content. We watched several youtube videos and we just made it work. We posted content every day such as showing our clients’ results and informative credit tip videos. We did not notice how our clientele had increased so quickly due to us having tunnel vision on marketing and getting our clients’ results… lol.
Over the course of time, we noticed our clients started to refer their family and friends to us because of our awesome customer service and most of all our amazing results.
