Hi Lisa, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.

At Mac Wigs, your good hair day is our first priority, we work tirelessly to consistently provide all of our customers throughout the U.S. with the best human hair wigs.
That means collecting the hair used in our wigs straight from the source and handling them with the utmost care until they are promptly delivered to you. You will see the difference the minute you try your unit on. Glueless and ready-to-wear units are my specialty.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It’s been a bumpy road. In an industry that is extremely competitive, you have to stand out. Be as original and true to yourself as possible. I struggled with finding myself and not comparing myself with the next person.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I created a group for local wigmakers to come together and support each other. The group is called 50 Shades of Beauty. It is filled with some of the most talented wigmaker in the industry. We collaborate, encourage and mentor wigmakers just starting out. I felt this was needed because this is a hard industry to navigate and having genuine wig sisters is something that helps on those rough days. I’m big on women supporting women.
